There aren’t many things we enjoy more than a delicious cup of coffee and a charming atmosphere to drink it in. This was the first time we had ever been to any of the three Baristas in Portland (despite walking past it nearly every day for years when Jade attended PNCA) and it will certainly not be our last. This particular location is right off NW Glisan on NW 13th avenue and is right next one of our other favorite spots, Ready Paint Fire.
Barista provided us with just what we needed for this occasion: a warm and interesting atmosphere to escape the freezing wind swept streets, an excellently crafted macchiato and the right backdrop for snapping a few photos. We even saw two familiar faces behind the counter that used to work at another one of our favorite coffee houses! It’s always great to bump into acquaintances who know your taste and provide offbeat and humorous conversation while ordering. Portland really is a little big city.
I am so excited to check this place out, along with only a billion other cafes. Our trip is going to be extremely caffeinated, haha.
