I’m usually the first one to rise in the morning. Cory tends to stay in bed as long as he can. I certainly don’t blame him especially on a Sunday, which tend to be his only real day off since Saturdays are usually reserved for homework, errands and chores. I woke up last Sunday, washed my face, replied to some emails and sipped a cup of tea. I went over to the window to open the blinds and was shocked to find a winter wonderland before me. Now, in Oregon, snow never stays for long. Just because you see snow doesn’t mean you will see it in another 20 minutes so I had no choice but to wake Cory up so he could marvel at it. Lucky for us it stuck around all day and we couldn’t help but bundle up and take some photographs…

I just love your red coat! I think it was about two years ago when it snowed in Chico…which NEVER happens. It only stuck around for a couple hours but luckily I was housesitting for a friend with a very shady back yard. It was magical.
Why, thank you! I’ve had it for years but it’s still one of my favorites. Cory and I are such dorks when it comes to snow: we just love it.
gorgeous photos & I love your red coat too
Hehe, thanks Vickie. It was a great find!

Thank you Eden! I don’t know if I will ever tire of snow…
