There is no hiding it: I love playing with makeup and new beauty products. I was very happy with what I found in my January Birchbox. This month’s box was about refocusing and making this the best year ever. I’m personally working on stressing less, drinking more water and keeping up with my daily skincare routine which includes sunscreen and a thorough clean with my Clarisonic.

Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner: If you have seen my portraits before, you have probably noticed how much I love sporting a cat eye. I’m pretty married to my absolute favorite liner: Bobbi Brown’s Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner. I was still excited to receive this liner. It’s a rich black with a very fine brush that allows for fairly precise application. Definitely keeping this in my makeup kit.
Nicole by Nicole Richie: I’m always hesitant about new perfumes but when I smelled this new scent by Nicole Richie, I was pleasantly surprised. Feminine and warm with hints of amber and vanilla: what’s not to love?
Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentrè: I actually am already a fan of this cult product. I own it and use it under my makeup every day. I’m very happy to have a travel size for my purse.
Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Styling Heat Protect Spray: I’m on the fence about this product. While I am a firm believer in protecting your hair from damaging heat, I’m not a fan of hairsprays.
Oscar Blandi Pronto Wet Instant Volumizing Shampoo & Conditioner: I have thick hair that has plenty of volume on its own so I try to avoid volumizing products. I did love how these products smell and if you are looking for more volume in your own locks, these products would definitely be worth trying.
