May was BUSY.  We  delighted in lattes from Coava and Barista. Shared a rainy day adventure with Mark. Dressed up for Derby Day with Harding & Wilson at the Lizard Lounge. Talked salt and summertime bites with Ben Jacobsenthe man behind Jacobsen Salt Co. Chatted with James Beard Award Winner, Mark Bitterman at his incredible shop, The Meadow. Sampled delicious gluten free/vegan sweets at Petunia’s Pies & Pastries and learned the behind the scenes story from owner, Lisa Clark. Had our tintype taken by the incredible Giles Clement. Celebrated our first wedding anniversary and traveled to Seattle (special thanks to Hotel 1000).

I’m sure June is going to be even busier since Cory is graduating and we’re moving. There is going to be so much to celebrate, I can’t wait!

These are lovely – your photos always make me so happy, Instagram or not.

I wish we lived closer! I would love to spend a day just shooting lots and lots of film together.

Aww, Anni, that just fills my heart with joy! Come visit Portland!! 😀

I’m terribly behind in my blogging, but where are you moving?

Also, I have a special place in my heart for Seattle. It is such a beautiful city.

PS: That tintype of you is gorgeous!

Haha, I’m behind too! So nice to hear from you though!! We will still be in Oregon. We’ve been living in Hillsboro which is about 15 minutes outside of Portland. We haven’t found our new place yet but we know we aren’t staying here! We are completely done with this apartment. I love Seattle too, although I will never visit during a holiday weekend ever EVER again, haha! Aw, thank you! I love how they turned out: I need to frame them!

I don’t know how your blog is JUST coming up on my radar, but it is so, so lovely. I am so glad you commented on my last post!

also, the Glass Castle is one of my favorite books. I also like Half Broke Horses by Jeanette Walls, as well.
