A Trip to Our Neighborhood Farmer’s Market

A Trip to Our Neighborhood Farmer’s Market

'A Trip to Our Neighborhood Farmer's Market' by Endlessly Enraptured #endlesslyenraptured #farmersmarket

Every Sunday from May through October in our lovely little neighborhood, there is a quaint farmer’s market that seems to appear out of nowhere. There is live music, fresh herbs and produce, stunning flowers and delicious food. We used to consider it a neighborhood secret… but now the secret is out and the market is always SWARMING with people.

Since we are moving, we are hoping to fit in one last visit tomorrow if we have the time. You see, Cory is graduating from college tomorrow!! I am so unbelievably proud of him. He has worked so hard and I can’t wait to see this chapter of his life end and a new one begin. These last few years have been trying ones (illness, disappointment, unexpected changes, etc) but I feel like they have led us to this beautiful time in our life together. I’m learning to find joy in the journey. I’m excited for what’s on the horizon…

I’m a big fan of markets like these (and any markets, really). Where I live, there is a market every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday right in the middle of the town centre, where they sell anything from fresh produce and flowers to magazines and clothes. Although I’ve been living in this town for 2 years now, I only started going to buy vegetables and fruits from the market about half a year ago but it’s absolutely great and my favourite part of Saturday mornings. However, the flowers at the market do not match the ones shown in your photographs, they are simply gorgeous! I hope that there is a market like this where you move to your new apartment!

Also, well done to Cory on his college graduation!

Ah! That is so neat. And lucky for us, there is an amazing Saturday Market only a few blocks away from our new apartment. I can’t wait! The flowers we get here are outrageously beautiful. I’m sure the owners get sick of me coming up and taking photographs of them, but I just can’t help myself!! They are too gorgeous to resist…

my favorite thing about weekends is the farmers market. in florida we have the farmers market year round due to weather, but it seems that we don’t have as much variety as you! i would love to see macarons at my farmers market.

It’s at the Orenco Station Farmer’s Market in Hillsboro! Definitely a must visit farmer’s market. There are so many lovely things. And the mini donuts are insanely delicious. Have you been to Pip’s Original yet? I’ve yet to go but have heard their mini donuts are AMAZING.

Farmers markets are awesome spots for taking photos. Can’t wait to get home to NY to hit up my local market.

As usual awesome shots. My fave is the one of the Mrs. with the flowers. Really cool.
