As a young girl, I dreamed of modeling couture for the cover of Vogue. But as I grew older (and didn’t grow past 5′ 4″) I knew that if I ever wanted to model, I would have to take matters into my own hands. That’s the very reason I started taking self portraits which has led me to so many incredible modeling opportunities.

It’s hard to believe that I’ve known Sarai nearly 6 years. We first met when I started dating Cory. She had seen some self portraits I had taken and was curious to know if I would be interested in modeling a few of her new vintage inspired patterns. Can you say match made in Heaven? Since that shoot we have worked on many others together including a Valentine’s Day lingerie video and her first book (which I got to be the cover model for). I even had the opportunity to photograph one of her patterns, ‘The Laurel.’

Sarai, thank you for seeing something in me and giving me the opportunity to let my inner model shine. You are so talented and its been such a pleasure watching Colette Patterns grow.

All the photographs you see here today were taken by Sarai. She even made this lovely video!

    You look perfect!
And it’s so inspiring that, even against some “difficulties”, you succeeded in achieving your dream to be a model.
I’d like to have your same strength and determination.

*Blush* Thank you ever so much Eleonora! I haven’t always been so strong willed, but there came a point when I knew that it was one of the things that made me truly happy and that I needed to go after it!

Oh my, you have seriously made my day. Probably one of the sweetest compliments I’ve ever received. I’m such a fan of his work. Would have loved to model for him…
