All of these beautiful colors that fall is swirling around us has got me thinking, I haven’t painted in long time. Even before I met Jade, painting was something I would do every now an then to release some of my pent up aggression or just to relax and see where the color took me. It seems Jade is feeling a little creatively sparked lately as well. We both haven’t been creating much art the past year but I think it’s time to change that. Granted through this blog we are able to still be creative, taking photographs, experiencing new things and writing about those experiences, but it’s just not the same as using a good old fashioned pen, pencil or paintbrush. Even though we haven’t had the time to create in that way, living where we do we have plenty of opportunities to go out, take walks and enjoy the beauty of nature together and experience all of the gorgeous color this season has to offer. This Saturday we’ll  be doing a photo shoot with our good friend Mark Mirocha. Sunday we’ll be doing or Halloween rituals early because I have to work later in the week on the actual holiday. We’re super excited to share what our costumes are…

But for now, here are some links we are endlessly enraptured with…

Inspired by Nicole Franzen‘s trip to Paris. We just didn’t get enough time there. Can’t wait to return…

Dreaming of an upgrade, *sigh.*

Can’t wait to read this while sipping this.

Wouldn’t mind adding this Hocus Pocus inspired piece by Nicole Gustafsson to our Halloween decor and this darling calendar by Rifle Paper Co. to our kitchen

Inspired by the work of Candice White. She always makes Jade look absolutely amazing.

Dreaming of working for The Chalkboard Project. I have a phone interview on Monday, wish me luck!

Can’t wait to buy these beautiful chairs for Jade!

Wouldn’t mind sipping on some tea in a mason jar, playing a little guitar in this new fandangled rocking chair

I love that colorful carpet of leaves.
We are having really bad weather here in Italy those days, so I can’t enjoy properly the beauty of this season 🙁
Thank you for the link to Nicole Franzen website: it’s always nice to discover new talented photographers.

PS: good luck on your job interview, Cory!

Aw, well I hope the weather brightens up there! And you are so welcome. Isn’t Nicole a treasure!? Thank you so much Eleonora! Cory can use all the positive vibes he can get!

So many good links! I, too, have been dreaming of a camera upgrade…sigh, one day.

Fingers crossed for the job interview. I am certain it is as nerve wracking as it is exciting!

I have only driven through Portland, but have always meant to spend more time there. My husband has an interview in Portland in just a few weeks, so I may be checking it out sooner than expected!

I’m crossing my fingers for both of us when it comes to that camera upgrade, haha! Thank you so much for the well wishes on the job front! Wishing the very same to your husband! 🙂
