A Giveaway with Woodblock Chocolate

IMG_2281

November and December have to be our favorite months of the year. There is this wonderful feeling in the air brought about by the holidays. The chill brings us closer together while walking through town, the streets are lined with twinkly lights and my desire for chocolate triples. My birthday just so happens to be right in the middle of it all! In fact, I just turned 27! So in celebration of the holidays, my birthday and my growing need to consume my favorite food group (chocolate) we are hosting a giveaway with our favorite chocolate artisans, Woodblock Chocolate!

This would be a gift to both my mom and I as we love dark chocolate and we always surprise each other with different kinda to taste! We also love to bake together, especially aroun the holidays, so it would be fun to come up with recipes using this chocolate!

    • endlesslyenraptured / 9 December 2013 3:15

That would be so sweet of you. Chocolate always seems to cheer up my husband…

  • Samantha / 9 December 2013 9:58

This is pretty tempting, but I would give it to my best friend and her family, who just moved from Chicago to Atlanta and could use some cheering up!

    • endlesslyenraptured / 9 December 2013 3:14

Aw, that would definitely be a great housewarming gift.

  • Roanna / 9 December 2013 10:10

    • endlesslyenraptured / 9 December 2013 3:12

Aw, how sweet of you! I’m sure she would share 😉

  • Iulia / 9 December 2013 10:12

    Love this giveaway
I think I would keep some for myself and give some to friends 🙂

  • Hayley bustos / 9 December 2013 10:29

I always need chocolate in my life. Endometriosis=raging PMS which can only be cured by chocolate and massages. I will share this with my massage therapist 🙂

  • Lena / 9 December 2013 10:47

I would give it to my mother!

  • Lena / 9 December 2013 10:48

Oh, I also liked both pages on Facebook 🙂

  • Terri Lodge / 9 December 2013 10:54

I would hide this and keep it all to myself. Us mommies get little of our own do I would cherish it secretly. 🙂

  • Michelle Karpman / 9 December 2013 11:49

    100% keep for myself.

  • Hannah Nicole / 9 December 2013 1:56

Oh my! I would LOVE this. I wouldn’t keep it, but it would be the perfect present for my grandpa. For as long as I can remember, he’s had a stash of chocolate he keeps in the cupboard above the stove…dark chocolate, sea salt chocolate, chocolate with caramel, etc., etc., etc. Everytime I come over, he gives me a piece without me asking. It’s become a small tradition and something I hope to pass onto my grandkids someday, as well as the love of, well, chocolate! This would be a perfect gift to say “thank you,” if only just a little bit. xox

  • Emily "@EmilyTheOtt" Otteson! / 9 December 2013 2:47

If I received this chocolated box of pure and utter glorious perfection, me’thinks I would save it for Christmas morn. Most folks stuff their faces o’er the holidays with sugar cookies and petty sweets up the wazoo, and rightly so! With holiday parties and samples at Whole Foods and little sugary somethings everywhere, it seems a sin not to enjoy each sugar-tunity! But this year, I have committed to only partake of deliciousments that I can truly appreciate as I consume them, respecting the quality, not th quantity, of the decided-on treat. Thus! If I received this box of lively and well-cared-for items, I would save it for Christmas morn. After presents have been opened and a the coffee’s fresh and ready, I’d sit and enjoy the delectable chocolate and savir it, nice and steady. Tally ho!

    • endlesslyenraptured / 9 December 2013 3:10

I am right there with you! It’s about quality, not quantity. It makes for a more pleasurable experience.

  • Mark / 9 December 2013 3:05

No doubt I would give it to my wife, who is growing not one, but two babies right now. Twins! Do you know what cravings are like when you have two babies growing inside of you? 🙂

PS, Cory & Jade, this info. is confidential. 🙂

  • Connor baker / 9 December 2013 3:49

I would give this to my wonderful husband who has and is sticking with me through my anxiety issues and treatment with hypnotherapy

Also like you on Facebook and reported on Instagram

  • Casie / 9 December 2013 3:55

I’d share *some* of it with my mom, but I’d hoard the rest of it for myself–probably somewhere that she won’t think to look. We both have huge sweet tooths and I wouldn’t want to get all of that lovely chocolate only to not get to taste it because of someone’s midnight cravings. 😀

  • Casie / 9 December 2013 3:56

I also liked both facebook pages!

  • April Hansen / 9 December 2013 8:08

Oh my goodness….I love woodblock chocolate! I’m a pretty generous person except when it comes to chocolate…it gets stashed away in a secret little place just for me here at home ;o). My hubby just might get to sample a few bites..small bites. My kids can treat themselves to what we call around our house “poo chocolate”(they don’t know the difference…yet)!

    I won’t be sharing…!! :o)

P.S. Your lovely space here is a recent discovery for me. Stunning! It’s nice to visit a blog that celebrates the beauty in life. Thank you.

    • endlesslyenraptured / 9 December 2013 9:53

Hahahaha! Oh my gosh April, you crack me up! I totally hide the ‘good’ chocolate for myself and leave the ‘poo’ chocolate for Cory because I know that he will eat it no matter what! Ok, ok, of course I share… but if I don’t hide the artisan chocolate, Cory will end up eating it all in one sitting instead of allowing it to last.

Aw, I am so glad you found us and that our message is coming across. Thank you, thank you, thank you…

  • Ange / 9 December 2013 8:24

I would LOVE to keep this. I’m a huge chocolate lover and a sucker for great packaging.

    • endlesslyenraptured / 9 December 2013 9:49

Oh, so are we. We will try different chocolate just because the packaging is so beautiful, haha!

  • Brianna Wagnon / 9 December 2013 8:45

this would be a gift for both my mother & i! we both absolutely love dark chocolate and this is just perfect.

    • endlesslyenraptured / 9 December 2013 9:48

Isn’t dark chocolate the greatest? That sounds like the perfect compromise!

  • Brianna Wagnon / 9 December 2013 8:47

    • endlesslyenraptured / 9 December 2013 9:47

Me too, girl, me too! If I was the one entering, I would do the very same thing, haha!!

  • Vy / 9 December 2013 9:54

I would be very tempted to keep it all for myself, but then feel guilty because it’d make such a nice gift. I would give it to one of my loved ones and hope they share 😉

  • Sid / 10 December 2013 12:13

    Keep them for myself. Duh.
Happy belated birthday. I celebrated mine on Sunday =)

    • endlesslyenraptured / 10 December 2013 8:14

Haha! It would be like a belated birthday present for yourself!

  • Lialia / 10 December 2013 12:15

  • Ally / 10 December 2013 8:24

I would *share* but I definitely would want in on it 😉

  • Jennifer / 10 December 2013 10:57

I would definitely have to snag a piece or two from the box, but I’d love to share it with my husband and friends who are all crazy about chocolate. Their packaging just kills me…so so good. Thanks for the chance to win, Cory & Jade! xo

    • endlesslyenraptured / 10 December 2013 8:31

Aw, I think sharing is the perfect thing to do with this gift box! Isn’t the packaging incredible!? The husband and wife team at Woodblock is just so talented and creative. Best of luck Jennifer!

  • Jennifer / 10 December 2013 10:57

Liked EE + WBC on Facebook, of course!

  • T K Park / 10 December 2013 1:32

I adore chocolate so it’s tempting to say I would keep it for myself…but when something is that good I start running to all my friends saying ” you have to eat this right now!” The box won’t last long, but everyone gets a blissful bite.

    • endlesslyenraptured / 10 December 2013 8:31

You are too right TK. This is definitely something you have the urge to share…

  • T K Park / 10 December 2013 1:32

Oh, I “liked” Woodblock Chocolates on facebook…I “liked” you guys a long time ago!

  • Simone Anne / 10 December 2013 3:32

I don’t think I’d have the heart to give it ALL away, so I’d leave it under the tree as a Christmas gift to my WHOLE family! That way I’d get to share the magic & give some away as well as enjoying this all myself! Yum!

  • Simone Anne / 10 December 2013 3:39

I’ve liked you both on Facebook!! – Simone Anne 🙂

  • miss alix / 10 December 2013 4:52

ooh la la dark chocolate. i would keep these (but i would share with my husband).

    • endlesslyenraptured / 10 December 2013 8:11

And so many different kinds of dark chocolate! If I was entering, that is exactly what I would do. Good luck Alix!

  • Daniel Montoya / 10 December 2013 4:59

They look amazing, I’m a big chocolate fan. But with this special gift I would share it with my wife and our teenager group that we work with at our local church. These kids love to eat especially sweets. Thanks for the opportunity of winning the gift but most of all four sharing a little piece of your life online. Happy Holidays

    • endlesslyenraptured / 10 December 2013 8:09

Aw, happy holidays to you too Daniel! Best of luck!

  • Jenna Tahhan / 10 December 2013 5:12

I would share with the whole fam this Christmas. My family is just a bunch of choco-holics, especially when it comes to dark chocolate. This would be an absolute hit at this year’s Christmas party with the family. I’ve also liked you on Facebook and reposted on Instagram! @tahhansolo

  • Aviva Artzy / 10 December 2013 5:16

Would definitely keep it for myself. But I’d probably share with Michelle if she was nice to me!

  • Vanessa Morrow / 10 December 2013 5:38

I would give it away, splitting it amongst my family members. I can’t afford much this year so it would be awesome to give them such yummy treats. I also liked woodblock chocolate on fb, I have previously liked ee on fb (umm, duh! :). thanks for the opportunity, you guys.

    • endlesslyenraptured / 10 December 2013 8:02

Sounds perfect Vanessa. We are keeping things simple this year too. I think sharing incredible chocolate with people you love is one of the best gifts!!

  • Ravina / 10 December 2013 5:48

I’d give this box to my amazing mama, who deserves all the best chocolates in the world!

  • Latrina | oftreesandhues / 10 December 2013 6:43

AMAZING. Chocolate is seriously the best gift… Is it horrible of me to totally keep this for myself if I won? I have this thing where I rarely do anything for myself, it’s even hard for me to take breaks when working sometimes. Okay, all of the time. However, the one thing I reward myself with is CHOCOLATE! The hubby keeps Trader Joe’s chocolate bars in the fridge for me, and whenever I finish a project or tick something off of my to-do list, or just had a bad day… I take a piece off of the chocolate bar. 😉

I am super stoked about this giveaway. I am loving their branding, by the way! Thank you guys for hosting this. 🙂

Oh! My entries: Obviously, my comment as well as liking both Facebook pages, I will more than likely share the IG photo too! 🙂

    • endlesslyenraptured / 10 December 2013 7:52

Haha, girl, that is not selfish whatsoever!! If I was the one entering, I would do the very same thing. Cory has a lot of trouble doing things for himself too. I have to force him to spend money on things for himself even when it’s things he needs like new socks! I used to be bad about it too but when I got ill a few years back I really learned the importance of taking care of yourself and doing special things for yourself.

Oh my gosh, have you had the dark chocolate peanut butter cups at Traders? AHHHHH! SO GOOD. We actually have a Trader Joes right behind our apartment. It’s pretty dangerous, haha.

Best of luck in winning Latrina!

      – Jade

  • Alisha Betts / 10 December 2013 6:44

As much as I would love to indulge in all of this by myself, I think I would gift it to a fellow chocolate lover like my mom or a one of my close friends!

Thank you so much for this giveaway opportunity!!

    • endlesslyenraptured / 10 December 2013 8:04

Well I’m sure whoever you ended up giving it too would share with you too! Win, win situation, right? 🙂

  • Alisha Betts / 10 December 2013 6:45

I liked both Woodblock Chocolate and Endlessly Enraptured on Facebook!

Thank you so much for the giveaway opportunity!!

  • Estela weinmann / 10 December 2013 8:41

I’d share it my girlfriends, have them come over so we can indulged together!! Nothing better than girlfriends and chocolate!

  • Anna Couzens / 10 December 2013 8:51

I’d send it to my mom and sister in Virginia.

  • Becky S. / 10 December 2013 9:10

I would hide it away for the moments I need it most… And then sneak it out and eat it in the corner so I don’t have to share it with my kiddos. 🙂

  • Becky S. / 10 December 2013 9:19

    Liked both pages on facebook!

  • Briana Morrison / 10 December 2013 9:52

Yum! Though I would want to keep this for myself, I’d have to give it away to the two biggest chocolate fiends I know, Andrew and his mom. 🙂

  • Briana Morrison / 10 December 2013 9:53

P.S. Of course I follow you guys! 😉

  • tiffany / 10 December 2013 10:45

I would, with a heavy heart, give this amazing chocolate to a dear friend of mine. He is a chocolate aficionado so I know he would love it. Hopefully he is willing to share 😉

    • endlesslyenraptured / 12 December 2013 9:58

Hehe, good thing is I’d bet he would share with you!

  • tiffany / 10 December 2013 10:45

Liked you both on fb – tiffany liley-williamson 🙂

  • Susan Almquist / 11 December 2013 10:03

This would be a Christmas gift to my family of four: husband, two sons and me. We would savor a dreamy morsel after dinner each night. However, when visiting friends or family, I would bring along a bar to share (the wealth), because chocolate this truly heavenly is meant to be spread around.

I was already a facebook fan of Woodblock; now I “like” Endlessly Enraptured too!

    • endlesslyenraptured / 12 December 2013 9:59

Gosh, Susan, that sounds like the perfect way to share this incredible box!

  • joshua shirley / 11 December 2013 10:07

I would share the gift box with my mother. Who has groomed my love for chocolate over a lifetime. If there is any left then maybe a beautiful woman or my work mates.

  • Nancy Curry / 11 December 2013 11:27

I would share just a bit, but mostly I’d hide the majority for those “Chocoholic Moments”. You know what I’m talking about. I’m already a friend with WoodBlock on Facebook. LOVE their chocolate, but hard to find outside of Portland.

    • endlesslyenraptured / 12 December 2013 10:04

OH, yes, you always need to store a bit away for emergencies! 😀

  • Dana Barron / 11 December 2013 11:41

I haven’t had the pleasure of trying this brand of chocolate, but judging from your comments and those of others, it’s something special. Special chocolate doesn’t go into my goody drawer – the one my husband and grandkids are fully aware of. Oh no, this chocolate would deserve a special, secure place to be doled out judiciously, and deliciously. I’m sure I’d share, but I’d need to do some taste testing first to determine when and with whom. A little QC first.

Since reading your post about my brother, Steve Smith, I’ve become a huge fan of your posts. Keep sharing your unique outlook on the finer things in life.

    • endlesslyenraptured / 12 December 2013 10:10

Thank you so much Dana for taking the time to come to our space and engage with our posts. It means so much. This chocolate is definitely the type you want to savor…

  • Asha@fsk / 11 December 2013 11:47

Oh Chocolate! I’d love to win this to share the chocolate with my bf and to make chocolate goodies to share with those I love 🙂

    • endlesslyenraptured / 12 December 2013 10:21

Yes! This chocolate is perfect for making treats extra special…

  • Nancy Curry / 11 December 2013 11:50

I love Woodblock Chocolate. I might share a little, but would probably keep most of it for myself.

  • Elizabeth / 11 December 2013 12:36

I would keep it all for myself!! I’d eat it all at once too… Chocolate coma! Here I come!!

  • Meryl / 11 December 2013 1:51

The chocolate sounds great! I would give this gift to a good friend.

  • ikkinlala / 11 December 2013 2:43

I’m too selfish to give the whole box away but not selfish enough to keep it all for myself. I think it would be the perfect thing to share with my parents when they come to visit.

    • endlesslyenraptured / 12 December 2013 11:01

Hahaha! Well I think that is a great compromise…

  • Connie Loeb / 11 December 2013 6:41

I would share with everyone that comes to my house on Christmas Eve, and I liked both Facebook pages!

  • peter / 11 December 2013 9:08

    1. Take a picture
    2. Take a bite of every piece
    3. Give away to friends

  • Dietra Hennig / 12 December 2013 5:10

Tomorrow is my mother’s birthday, she will be 44, she has been through so much and remains my solid rock. Whenever I feel down, whenever I need to talk she is there for me and will answer even in the wee hours of the night, when I have been balling my eyes out in desperation to hear someone’s voice. She remains my stronghold. She gives me the strength through her shining inspiration. She has been poor, abused, cheated, and broken-hearted for most of her life, but she still managed to stand on her two feet and smile and laugh through all the damages.

She also loves chocolate- and believes that chocolate can heal a broken heart… When my first boyfriend broke up with me she brought me home some chocolate:)

If I win the woodblock chocolate giveaway, I will give it all to my mother… Just one of the gifts i am starting to repay her for all those nights she sung me to sleep.

    • endlesslyenraptured / 16 December 2013 5:15

Aw, happiest of birthdays to your sweet mama! You are lucky to have each other. And I totally agree that chocolate has healing power. Best of luck!!

  • Sam Revel (@yoursamrevel) / 15 December 2013 8:08

Aha, we’re in Vancouver for the holiday and saw Woodblock Chocolate in a shop yesterday. I suddenly remembered I hadn’t got around to entering!

Anyway, I would gift this to my mother after she scoffed at me spending £5 on a single origin bar a few weeks ago.

    Good chocolate is good.

    • endlesslyenraptured / 16 December 2013 5:16

Haha! I think pricey chocolate is worth every penny!

  • Amber G. / 15 December 2013 11:49

Honestly…I would keep the box for myself, but use the chocolate in a recipe that I can share with others! Sounds amazing!

    • endlesslyenraptured / 16 December 2013 5:17

Oh, yes, this chocolate is perfect for special baking!

  • Amber G. / 15 December 2013 11:51

    Fingers crossed; thanks again!

  • Alexandrea M / 15 December 2013 3:49

I would love to share it with my husband’s grandmothers in Michigan. I don’t have grandmothers of my own so that makes them extra special. As others have said, I’d definitely hope to get on tasting the chocolate with them. It looks so delicious!

    • endlesslyenraptured / 16 December 2013 5:25

Isn’t it wonderful how when you get married your family grows?

  • Alexandrea M / 15 December 2013 3:52

  • Calli / 15 December 2013 9:49

I would keep it, but share with my family!

    • endlesslyenraptured / 16 December 2013 5:25

I think that is the perfect compromise. You get a little and give a little…

  • Molly Gosline / 16 December 2013 4:24

So I am a complete choclate addict. I work for a chocolate company in Portland, so I’m around It all day. I am going home for the holidays and would absolutely share this with my parents and sister. We all can appreciate some good quality chocolates!

    • endlesslyenraptured / 16 December 2013 5:26

Wow, that is so awesome!! It would be WAY too dangerous for me to work at a chocolate factory, haha!!

  • Molly Gosline / 16 December 2013 4:37

Just returning to say I liked both links on FB and reposted the photo on Instagram. Woo!

  • Shahid / 16 December 2013 4:41
