And in a blink of an eye, May was over. And here we are, already a few days into June and I’m in complete disbelief. We celebrated a year of writing ‘Endlessly’ and two years of marriage. Peonies came into bloom and I took every opportunity I could to surround myself with them. Of course we fit in a few delicious cups of coffee. Unfortunately, this month had a lot of trials, mainly health related ones. The change in season usually means my immune system takes a dive and my ulcerative colitis acts up. Summer is about being on the go, so when the weather changes and my health declines and I’m stuck in bed, it’s hard not to have a pity party. But, I’m trying every single day to overcome the bad and embrace the good.

Here’s to June being rejuvenating for all of us…
