I think we’re ready to just pick up & move to London. Granted this was only our second trip there, but sometimes that’s all it takes to know. I knew that I wanted to be with Jade for the rest of my life first time I saw her. I know it sounds like a cheesy, romantic thing to say, but it’s absolutely true. Every moment I spent with her was only further affirmation that I wanted to spend more time with her, get to know her better, find out her hopes & dreams & fall deeply in love. I get a similar feeling going back to London.

I knew even before I met Jade that I wanted to be with someone who was creative, inspirational, down to earth, and real to a fault. That was Jade. I may have not known her face, but I knew that person existed out there for me. When I think of a place I want to live, I want a place that inspires me. A place I’ll love to roam. A place that has endless opportunity & at the same time would allow me to feel comfortable & at home. My mind keeps wandering back to London. Whether I am walking through the endless parks, brunching on the 40th floor with a brilliant never ending view, or just laying in bed watching British telly… I fall deeper in love & feel more at home every time I go there.

On this trip we were able to stay for almost two weeks so we really were able to get in a rhythm: Drinking coffee and tea in local shops, taking long walks to admire the history & architecture &  eating all the incredible food we could possibly stand. We’ve done the tourist thing before, so it was wonderful to have the opportunity to live as a local, relaxing and taking your time can really be a testament of what life might be like if you did live just down the lane. And that what I want: A cozy flat in a picturesque neighborhood, with parks close by & a beautiful bakery or coffee shop just within walking distance. Not too much to ask for… right?

We’re looking forward to sharing more of our trip with you, but for now, here’s London in an instant…
