Ready for the Weekend

Ready for the Weekend

Ready for the Weekend by Endlessly Enraptured

Happy *almost* weekend! How was your Halloween? Ours was pretty great. Cory was in California for most of the week, training for his new job, so things felt extremely weird at home. The last time we spent that much time apart was probably over three years ago when I was on location in Italy for a week. The sad part about that is that we had just gotten married so it kind of felt like I was on my honeymoon… alone. But, he is back home now, working as a remote employee. This means we are both working from home and have a whole new normal to get comfortable with. We have a busy weekend ahead shooting a few projects, celebrating my grandpa’s 80th birthday and binge watching ‘Master of None.’ I also have partnered with Kathy Davis brand on Instagram this month where I will be participating in their “Create a Life You Love” campaign. Their story really resonates with me since their business was started by an independent artist and has evolved from the belief that everyone has the right to follow their dreams. I will be sharing an image once a week, where I will share how I create a life that I love, one full of art, authenticity, and overcoming obstacles big and small. I’ve already shared my first post, where I encourage you to follow @KathyDavisBrand for inspiration & share your stories with #CreateaLifeYouLove.

And now, a few links that inspired me this past week:

I’m definitely making this no-bake chocolate fridge cake for our next dinner party.
I want to prance around on colorful leaves wearing these fall boots.
What are your thoughts on dramatic wallpaper? I think I love it: in a laundry room, powder room, as an accent wall.
I was a storyteller a few years back, so it was quite a joy seeing Molly’s perspective. When is the reunion trip?
A few life lessons from Frida Kahlo.
Yes, Halloween is over, but there is always time for a ghost story, especially when it’s beautifully illustrated.
Can’t stop thinking about this burgundy overcoat. Perfect for all that leaf prancing.
Currently reading the latest edition of ‘The Gentlewoman‘ featuring Saoirse Ronan.
I want to live in Robin’s instagram feed.

Aww it’s definitely hard when you are apart… whenever my hubs goes on a business trip it always feels so… empty. Even though the alone time is nice, it just makes you realize how special the time is when you are together 🙂 Hope you’re having a great holiday season dear! I really need to watch Master of None… I keep hearing it’s too good, haha! x
